A group of Penn State New Kensington faculty, staff and students visited and toured FedEx Ground's North Pittsburgh station in Zelienople, Pa. The state-of-the-art station, which opened in 2016, is fully automated and processes approximately 15,000 packages an hour. The visit was coordinated by Rhonda Schuldt, the campus' innovation coordinator at its innovation hub, The Corner, and allowed students to learn about innovation in relation to a large business.
